Join Our Select Teams

At Dansstudio Balance (DSB), we have two selection teams: Modern 15+ and Demo Team for ages 10-15.

At Dansstudio Balance (DSB), we have two selection teams: Modern 15+ and Demo Team for ages 10-15.

These teams offer dedicated dancers the chance to enhance their skills, perform at various events, and work closely with experienced instructors.

Requirements for Joining the Modern 15+ Team

To be part of the Modern 15+ select team, you must meet the following criteria:

Requirements for Joining the Demo Team 10-15

To join the Demo Team for ages 10-15, you must attend the following weekly classes:

  • Streetdance Class: Everyone must participate in 1 streetdance class per week.

  • Additional Dance Class: In addition to streetdance, you must take one extra technical dance class, choosing between ballet or modern.

Weekly Class Breakdown

  • Streetdance: 1 class per week
  • Technical Dance Class (Ballet or Modern): 1 class per week

  • Demoteam Training: 1 extra class per week with the Demoteam

In total, you will attend a minimum of three classes per week.

All members must audition during the second week of the season: for Modern on September 18, 2024 & for the Demo Team on September 19, 2024.
